Does anyone know of any “experts” who advised VicForest on which areas of native forest can be clear -felled by their dozers for logging and which patches on their TPR map are to remain standing for powerful owl, greater glider or leadbeater possum presence? If they haven’t got someone who is an expert advising of this or doing this location of these species , then they are negligent of protection…(they do know they must grow plantation timber to be sustainable). Since the fires at Xmas there are even fewer numbers of these species.
