Action Planner Form

Please road-test this Action Planner Form.pdf (328.4 KB) for you action designs.

IT’S A ROUGH DRAFT AT THE MOMENT. PLEASE GIVE FEEDBACK ON HOW TO IMPROVE IT.

Thanks to John from XR Inner West for designing this.

Pros:

  • Gives rebels a really clear and concise view of what is required for a successful action and what roles need to be filled.

Cons:

  • Could be used as evidence to prosecute rebels who did not want to be arrested.
  • If leaked before the action it could be used to disrupt the action.
  • Listing role holders is an extremely sensitive topic.
    • On the one hand transparrency is needed for effective organising
    • On the other identifying individuals put’s them at risk.
    • Best compromise is to use mattermost handles or protonmail email addresses “only” for identifying purposes. - No Phone Numbers, No Real Names, No Gmail/Hotmail/ISP email addresses, since these are all linked directly to a rebel’s government issued ID.

Incorrect Information

MatterMost is NOT end-to-end encrypted and NOT appropriate for Red Action planning.
A distinction should be made between Red Actions and Green/Orange Actions. Red actions should only be organized by affinity groups using face-to-face or end-to-end encrypted communication.
The Red aspects of an action should not be known to anyone outside the affinity group undertaking them. However, Red actions and Orange/Green Actions should be organised to coinside, since they support each other. But they should be seen as separate actions each requiring their own array of roles be filled.
